I have always liked African Bolbitis. It has lacey leaves
that look very much like terrestrial ferns and is either dark or light
green in color. It does not seem to be very fussy about light or CO2, but
I have found it grows much better when attached to wood high up in the
tank and placed in the path of a fairly strong current from a filter or
pump.
