1st place aquascape, by Oliver Knott
Roger Miller, My thanks to Robert Hudson for allowing me to judge his contest this year. Judging was both a great pleasure and a tremendous chore. The pleasure came from having the opportunity to study so many beautifully done aquascapes. The chore came from having to assign each work a numerical score. If my experience here has taught me anything that I would like to share with future contestants it is this; choose the lighting for your tanks and the color quality in your photographs to provide the most accurate colors possible.

Luis Navarro, I would like to thank the AQUABOTANIC community for giving me the chance to be a judge. I was very much impressed to see the high level that America is showing with top notch layouts. keep up the good work and many thanks again for the opportunity.

Gianmarco Bertaccini, I didn´t realize that I would have such a difficult time to judge a competition like this. There were so many outstading layouts, people are getting very high skilled in this hobby, that I spent hours looking carefully all the entries. The level is getting really high and everyone should feel proud to exhibit your creation regardless the position that they have achieved. This is an oportunity to see what everybody is doing in the art of aquascaping with aquatic plants around the globe and we all can learn with this experience. It was a pleasure to take part on this event.

Bartek Lipczynski, none yet...
