Compact Flourescent, otherwise known as power compact flourescent, provide intensive light in a small space. Kelvin measures the coloe spectrum of the light, and 6700 kelvin gives the truest day light color for growing plants. These bulbs can last over 2 years. Some bulbs on the market such as 65 watt CFs actually run at 55 watts, burn out prematurely, and actually give off less light than these 55 watt tubes! And these "other" bulbs cost much more!
