Provides all nutrients including C02!

Substrate fertilizer tablets that provide a natural source of iron, essential trace minerals and macro nutrients as well trace amounts of C02 from natural organic matter. Contains natural laterite, fish emulsions and sea kelp. The kelp provides a natural hormone that enhances root and leaf growth. Each tablet lasts three months. Place each tablet within two or three inches from each plant or group of plants deep in the substrate. Does not encourage algae growth. Phosphate free. Contains 12 tablets.

Contains a balance of the minerals plants need, plus calcium which is a major nutrient for plants. If your water is very soft, then providing calcium at the roots is particularly important. Many plants such as Swords and Cryptocorynes are heavy root feeders and respond well to fertilizer at the roots in addition to what is in the water.

Instructions:
Deposit one Plantabb, whole or crushed, for every 5 gallons of water every 10 days. pH reaction is slightly acidic. If your water is naturally acidic, a neutralizer should be used.
